There are no more abandoned structures on Tarq that I can find. I roamed around willy nilly here and there but haven't found a one. I was able to do two the other night, I think. Now I'm just wandering and I think it may be time to move servers. I'm thinking of Bloodfin, but I'm not completely sure. Everyone and their brother from Tarq seems to have headed to Starsider, but my name isn't available there. What to do?

I don't even know if I will have anywhere to put my house down on the new server. I really want to be in a city, but it's going to be difficult getting permission if I'm not in a guild. I've been in GEN for years, but GEN doesn't have its own guild on Bloodfin, I don't think. If I want to be in a guild, I'll have to apply to a new one. Or I can just stay without a guild. Hmmm.

Demolishing Structures

I'm lucky I haven't left Tarquinas yet because I'm hearing how difficult it is proving for people to find abandoned structures to demolish on the more populated servers. The free transfer offer expires at the end of the month, and I'm working hard on getting my badges. I've got the first one and missed a couple of days but I'm trying to get back on track.

Finding Myself

I sent in my laptop to be fixed and it came back a week and a half later with a new hard drive. Humm. I had backed everything up, or close to everything, but had lost my link and info for Blogger. Despite having Roboform, the profile I'd saved was before I'd signed up, so I spent a good hour yesterday looking for the password. I have too many accounts on Google, I think. Finally, kindness looked upon me with well, kindness. I found it! And I'm back.

Love in the Time of the Ewoks

Today is day something or other of the great Ewok Festival of Love. I have earned my "wings" (photo to come) and have been running around Kadaara all day looking for that little bugger -- I mean lovely fluffy flying Ewok, Kyoopid. I set up a target on him so a bit after 6pm this evening, I found him lounging by a fountain just about 75m from the circle of dancing Ewoks. Hurrah!

I have now earned two new badges: Emmissary of the Festival of Love and Disciple of Kyoopid. I also matched up a girl named Betty. Yesterday I helped Bob find love. I'm so NICE!

I must say, running all over the place has got me exhausted. My boots are going to wear out if I have to keep this up. At least there will be no more looking for Kyoopid. I just have to find love for 6 more people and I'm home free with a 3rd badge.

The whole Chak Heart thing is getting me down; aside from being able to buy my wings, I purchased the painting of two Ewoks in love (at least I think that's what it is all about) but I haven't enough hearts for anything else. Maybe I will invest in the chocolate fountain or the decorative berries because there's precious little I really want. My house is kind of crowded as it is. Well, two houses, actually. But one is a large Naboo which I hate. I so long for a bunker.

Overall I'm very disappointed with the whole Festival. Vincer Kaden had some great ideas for the Festival but alas, we are stuck with chasing flying carebears all over the cities.

I think I'll go home and have some leftover Hoth chocolate and relax. I have much to do tomorrow!

The Day I Met Darth Vader

Some months ago, I happened upon Darth Vader after he landed right smack in the middle of Theed. Well, maybe not in the middle of Theed, but right in the open area outside the spaceport.

I sauntered up to him, thoroughly unimpressed with his height (he looks so much bigger on the viewscreen!) and proceeded to poke him for all the bad crap he's pulled over the years.

Lo and behold, Lord Vader was not in good spirits, for he used Force Choke to bring me to my knees, and I ended up coughing and sputtering in front of all my friends (wait, who am I kidding? All my friends have deserted me so at least I was alone but for the few Stormtroopers who didn't even seem to care that I was poking their leader.) Being the rapscallion that I am, I poked him again with the same result.

He really is a grumpy Sith. My beloved met him on Hoth about a month or so ago and Vader was in an even more grumpy mood because he attacked Xanthus for merely looking his way.

If you see Vader, poke him for me will ya?
